Registered Care Home Manager

£50,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience

An exciting opportunity has come available to be part of our organisation for our Treelands Care Home.

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Care Home Manager within our Nursing and Care Home within Oldham. You will join the organisation at an exciting time of growth. You will report to the Care Director and be supported by a strong Operations Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of business performance and quality targets for the home. Providing support and leadership to the staff, creating a culture of resident focus and quality of service. While establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

In addition you will: 
  • Oversee / maintain the care of residents within the Care Home.
  • Managing Budgets, ensuring the home remains profitable 
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Home.
  • Provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of the Care Home.
  • To maintain care and management skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain best practice.
  • To manage the services within the Care Home in accordance with standards agreed, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed with the Registered Provider.
 
Qualifications and Skills

About You

You will be passionate about delivering outstanding care to our residents in a dignified and safe manner.  With proven ability to lead and motivate a team. You will be well organised and an exceptional communicator. Other skills and experience will include:

  • A good working knowledge of the relevant policies, procedures & legislation relating to adult social care
  • Previous experience of managing a large care home
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC Registered Pin
  • Good understanding of P&L structure and budget management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all level.
  • Satisfactory DBS check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
